Privacy Policy

KefirWay ("we", "our") is a browser-based game. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the service.

Information we collect

• Game progress: When you sign in (e.g. with Google), your game save may be stored on our servers so you can continue on other devices.
• Account data: If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from Google in accordance with Google's OAuth scope. We use this to display your identity in the app and to associate your game save with your account.
• Local data: When you play without signing in, your progress is stored only in your browser (localStorage). We do not receive that data unless you later sign in and choose to sync it.

How we use information

We use your account data and game save solely to provide the game (e.g. syncing progress, showing your profile). We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third parties

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Google for sign-in. Their respective privacy policies apply to data they process. The app may be hosted on Vercel; see Vercel's privacy policy for hosting.

Your choices

You can play without signing in (local-only). You can disconnect your account or request deletion of your data by contacting us. Deleting your account may remove your cloud save.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
